Limited edition 180g vinyl of the album ‘Bossa Nova York’ features the complete LP along with 2 bonus tracks. The album was recorded in New York with Sergio Mendes’ own trio, as well as Antonio Carlos Jobim on guitar, Art Farmer, Phil Woods, and Hubert Laws. Originally released in the US as ‘The Swinger From Rio’, this album was Mendes’ first LP after moving to the United States in the early 60’s. The music on this album showcases the blend of Bossa Nova and jazz influences, creating a unique and captivating sound.
