Originally released as a double A side with “Ready Steady Go”, it peaked at No. 16 in the UK chart. Southern Sun was taken from the 1M worldwide selling album Bunkka. With vocals by Carla Werner, the album has been included on over 70 compilation albums. Paul Oakenfold has remained a key figure in the electronic music community for over 30 years, with numerous awards and accolades to his name.
