These albums, originally released on Atlantic Records, have been out of print for many years and are now back on vinyl. Overkill, an American thrash metal band formed in 1980, are known for their unique playing style influenced by punk rock and the new wave of British heavy metal. They were one of the first thrash metal bands to sign to a major label and achieved mainstream success with their Atlantic debut, Taking Over, in 1987. Overkill now have nineteen studio albums and continue to tour worldwide.
