Funkadelic – Maggot Brain

The band, led by George Clinton, had a fluctuation of exceptional musicians in its ranks over time, including Bootsy Collins, Eddy Hazel, and Bernie Worrel. Their sound evolved from psychedelic rock escapades to P-Funk monsters in the late 70s, consistently charting in the US R&B charts. ‘Maggot Brain’ was ranked in the top 5 of the ‘Best Guitar Albums of All Time’ by the British MOJO magazine. The title track, played by Eddy Hazel, is considered a stroke of genius in instrumental rock. The album is now being celebrated with a limited LP edition for its 50th anniversary, featuring a vinyl remaster and two versions of the title track.
