In late 2020, Amyl and The Sniffers recorded their second album ‘Comfort to Me’ with producer Dan Luscombe. The album, written during lockdown, showcases a heavier pool of influences and references. Amy Taylor’s rap idols and garage bands inspired the lyrics, reflecting her pent-up energy and evolving perspective on the world. ‘Comfort to Me’ maintains the band’s signature smarts, integrity, and candidness, but with a sound that has evolved over the years. Amy describes the album as raw self-expression, defiant energy, and unapologetic vulnerability. Rough Trade Records released the album in 2021.
